Esther Ferrero (Ganadería García Ferrero)

La joven ganadera Esther Ferrero es quien lidera la Ganadería García Ferrero, una ganadería extensiva regenerativa que desarrolla, en base al manejo holístico, un pastoreo rotacional empleando la tecnología del vallado virtual con los collares Nofence.

Se trata de una ganadería de vacas cruce de toros charolés y raza limousin. Los animales están siempre en el exterior, no hay estabulación.

A través del pastoreo rotacional de pastos se consigue una mejora en los suelos, en los ecosistemas, y que aparezcan nuevas especies que antes no había en la zona. Se consigue así un mejor aprovechamiento de los pastos y de la poda de arbolado que se obtiene con permiso de los servicios forestales. 

Los animales no reciben suplementación; sí se emplean bloques desparasitantes y de sal.

La ganadería García Ferrero tiene el sello de la IGP Sierra de Guadarrama, forma parte de la cooperativa de ganaderos de la Sierra de Madrid, Ganademad y Esther es una de las ganaderas integrantes de Ganaderas en Red.
